UNEMPLOYMENT

Unemployment rate is still near double didgets, which is about millions of Americans looking for jobs. When there is a open job, employers have dozens or even hundred of eager applicants to get hired. Education is an invaluable assest for any applicant, but as many job seekers can assest, it is not the only prerequiste for employment. When an employer is choosing a canidate for the orginization, they want to see years of experience and an education that is not outdated. Job seekers have to take responsibility for their education because many empolyers no longer have the time and budget to groom new hires. Many job seekers can make themsleves more competitive by getting industy recogonized credidentials.

My Thoughts: My thoughts on this article is that teens our age are having trouble to find jobs. It is hard to find jobs our age because our economy is bad and companys are finding workers who has experience and has a good education. We have trouble looking for jobs because we have no work experiences. Companys are hiring people who has work experience but what if the canidate is hardworking and has good grades, but hires the other person who has work experience I dont think thats fair.

Interest: I found this article ineresting because it shows me how our economy is how jobs for teens now these days are hard to find.
